Instagram Stories Hack: Adobe Spark

If you’re looking for a simple way to create cost-effective, engaging Instagram Stories in a short amount of time, look no further than Adobe Spark Post.

Adobe Spark Post can be used on the mobile app or desktop (although animations aren’t available via desktop, yet). Spark Post provides a platform to create branded content in a matter of minutes thanks to its variety of layouts, the option to upload brand fonts, colors, logos and more.

The content you create doesn’t have to stop at Instagram Stories either – it can be resized for the feed, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, LinkedIn, Snapchat and print materials.

Spark Post can be modified to fit almost any content need, and I’ve found success in the roundup of the weekly events highlight for the College of Agricultural Sciences. Rather than posting a stagnant graphic, I’m able to create animated short clips for those roundups.

Getting started with Adobe Spark Post:

  1. Open spark.adobe.com on your desktop
  2. Log in with Adobe account
  3. Select “manage brand”
  4. Upload brand logo, colors and fonts
  5. Explore templates or start from scratch

The desktop version is great when you’re creating posts as batch work, then you can sync the posts with the mobile app to add animations once all the information is plugged in. Design experience is not required to use Spark Post, and most of the templates can be adjusted to fit your brand. The app also comes with free photos, patterns and fonts, which saves a lot of time.

Animated stories make it easier to captivate your audience and ultimately boost your engagement if it’s done right. Below are some examples of the roundup of the weekly events for the College of Ag:
