6 CSU Instagram Accounts You Didn’t Know Existed

Here are a few Instagram accounts at Colorado State University that you should follow.

During my time as the CSU Social and Digital Media intern, I’ve been able to learn about amazing Instagram accounts that I previously didn’t know existed. These accounts are great resources for prospective, incoming, enrolled and graduate students. My biggest takeaway from learning about all these Instagram accounts is that our school truly wants our students to exceed and thrive academically, socially, mentally and physically.

1. CAM The Ram: @csucamtheram

CAM The Ram is not only our beloved school mascot, but also an Instagram icon. CAM’s Instagram depicts weekly photos of our two-legged and four-legged friend. CAM loves to interact and engage with his followers, tagged posts and mentions. It’s also great to turn CAM’s post notifications on in case he shows up on campus and you want to get a photo with him. Keep an eye out for you and your friends, because CAM often features students’ posts that he gets tagged in. Show your school spirit by giving CAM a follow!

2. Ram Events: @rameventsatcsu

Run by students and for students, Ram Events is a student programming board that shares the latest activities to get involved in at CSU. From movie nights to TED Talks, dance lessons, concerts, karaoke and more, there’s something for everyone to partake in. Make sure to put their post notifications on because they frequently give away free merch, pizza and drinks on campus. They also hire students every year. If you like organizing, party planning, or event coordination, check the links in their bio. Ram Events often sets up a tent on the LSC Plaza with interactive games. Keep an eye on their Stories to know when you can interact with them.

Looking for help living off campus? Look no further. CSU Off-Campus Life offers students resources, updates and guidance on all things residential living. They post updates on housing fairs, lease tips, transportation and roommate round-ups. Through the link in their bio, they offer consultation services, advocacy, rental searches and job opportunities. Finding a place to live can be stressful, let the OCL help make it a little easier and more navigable. They have lots of experience working with students. All CSU students need and deserve a strong foundation, a stable home and supportive community. Give them a follow for all of these amazing resources.

The CSU Diversity Programs and Services provide students with support and advocacy across all platforms. They are extremely accessible and often hold meetings in the LSC. They’ve created safe spaces for similar, like-minded students and allies to interact, express themselves and come together. Everyone deserves to feel like they belong. Many of these centers have scholarships available, hold events and even take trips together. These are incredible centers of learning and friendship for students. Drop them a follow to show your support, stay up to date and get involved in the community!
